He has a broad background in theatre, both on stage and off, including operations, design, directing, and stage management. Some of his other stage roles include Tony in West Side Story; Conrad Birdie in Bye, Bye Birdie, and Gaston in Beauty and the Beast.

At Theatrikos Gary works as part of the theatre management team overseeing volunteers, working with finance, managing the Box Office, as well as serving on several committees.  Gary is a member of Actor's Equity and The American Association of Community Theatre’s and is proud of the work that Theatrikos does and the impact the theatre makes on the communities and people of Northern Arizona.

Ginger

Ginger joins the Theatrikos team after Gary Walden assumed the position of Executive Director in early spring.

Ginger recently entered into the theatre world on a "double-dog dare" from her son to play the role of the mother in A Christmas Story at Theatrikos last season; the experience was enough to get her hooked on theatre and anxious to be integral part of it all.

Ginger originates from southern California, but has called Flagstaff home for over 20 years; she is married, and has two of the most amazing boys in the world.  Her little girl is a black toy schnauzer named Lacey, who may be seen wondering the halls of Theatrikos.

Ginger brings to the Box Office a wide variety of skills including restaurant management, recruiting expertise, student and public transportation, and small business ownership where she owned a charter school bus company.

Outside of work Ginger loves to hand quilt, jazz dance, bike ride, is treasurer for her church, Jazzercises, is a gelato maker/cake decorator and a full time student.

Educational Director
Joe Maniglia
Joe

Joe caught the acting bug at an early age.  On holidays and at family gatherings, Joe was always organizing the children in a talent show or performance for the rest of the family.  In junior and senior high, Joe put those skills on stage for the first time in The Fantasticks, Don't Drink the Water as well as in musicals like Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and The Wiz.

After a long stay in Chicago, Joe and his family moved to Flagstaff and Joe was determined to begin acting again. Here he found Theatrikos Theatre Company and was involved in the community productions of A Christmas Carol, Our Town, and Little Shop of Horrors to name a few.

Joe is currently balancing two jobs: as the youth/assistant pastor at the Journey Church and as the Education Director for Theatrikos where he oversees all aspects of youth programming, including TheatriKIDS and the P.E.A.C.E. Project.  His wife of 18 years is a professor at NAU and this fall his son, AJ, will be entering the 8th grade at Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy.

Joe feels very blessed to be on the ultimate dramatic journey with his supportive family and faithful friends.
