Carol Covington

Carol has been a Flagstaff resident since 2003. With education and experience in city planning, she was a good fit to be appointed to the Regional Plan update Citizen Advisory Committee in 2010-2014. This experience afforded her a rich opportunity to engage in thoughtful discussion with citizens from all corners of the community. She was subsequently accepted into the Class of 2014 Flagstaff Leadership Program, further expanding her understanding of this region, and solidifying friendships for a lifetime.

As the Executive Director of the Sustainable Economic Development Initiative, Carol was provided the opportunity to engage with leaders across the region, to work on creative and sustainable means to grow the economy of this unique area.
