Danya Gorel

Native-born Houstonian, Danya has called Flagstaff home since finishing her MA in Sustainable Communities at NAU. Danya previously studied Theatre and Dance at the University of Texas in Austin with a focus in direction and design.

With over 15 years experience on the stage and behind the scenes, Danya is honored to serve on Theatrikos’ Board. When Danya is not supporting the performing arts, she can be found dancing, hiking, and traveling. Danya serves as the Rising Leaders manager at the Grand Canyon Trust where she works to connect emerging environmental advocates to the Colorado Plateau.
