Mike Williams

Treasurer

Mike Williams is a forester and a retired Forest Supervisor following a 42-year career with the United States Forest Service. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, he grew up in a small farming town in the southern part of that state, the son and grandson of veterinarians. After graduating from the U of Minnesota College of Forestry, he joined the Forest Service and worked in various jobs on national forests on the Central Oregon coast, northern California and a couple of years back in USFS headquarters in Washington, DC.

He and his wife Barbara moved to Flagstaff in 2001 when he became Forest Supervisor of the Kaibab National Forest in Williams, AZ. He moved north to Wenatchee, Washington in 2015 to the same position on the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, retiring back to Flagstaff in 2019. He’s an active member of the Flagstaff Rotary Club, and has been a Rotarian since 1986 in the various places he’s lived. He and Barbara are avid theater-goers, and have enjoyed many Theatrikos performances over the years they’ve been in Flagstaff.
