Violet Orchard-Strohmeyer has been a familiar face in the Flagstaff music and education communities since her arrival and graduation from the NAU College of Music Education, but she is thrilled to be making her stage debut with Theatrikos this year in Once: A New Musical. Violet is entering her second year at Mount Elden Middle School as the Orchestra, Guitar, and Theater Director, and she believes that staying actively involved in Flagstaff’s music and arts communities is one of the best ways to grow both as an educator and as a person.
When she’s not onstage, backstage, teaching or skating with the local Flagstaff roller derby team, Violet can often be found taking a well-deserved nap, gardening, or enjoying time around Flagstaff with her newlywed husband, Stephen.
