Stage Fright: A NAPS Halloween

This Halloween season, Northern Arizona Playwriting Showcase hosts a themed evening of staged readings of new “micro plays” by Flagstaff writers. This one-night-only production takes place from 7:30-9:30 p.m. October 26 at Theatrikos’ Doris Harper White Community Theater.

Local actors will bring the staged readings to life under the direction of Angelé Anderfuren, Jane Armstrong, Adrienne Bischoff, Gavin Buckley, Will Cordiero, Ann Cummins, Eric Dovigi, Richard Gaughn, Lawrence Lenhart, Tom Marcinko, John Propster, Bob Reynolds, and Levi Stallings. 

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased online in advance or at the door. Alcoholic spirits will be sold during the intermission, along with spooktacular snacks and treats.

Monetary and book donations for Texas Hurricane Harvey relief efforts will be collected. Patrons are encouraged to bring cash, check, new/gently used books for pre-k through middle school children to help raise the spirits of kids whose schools lost all their books in the hurricane flood waters.

NAPS is a 10-year nonprofit cooperative effort between Northern Arizona University and Theatrikos Theatre Company. NAPS is co-directed by Ann Cummins and Linda Sutera. NAPS board members include: Ann Cummins, Linda Sutera, Tony Sutera, Virginia Brown, Seth Muller, Bob Reynolds, and Angelé Anderfuren.
