Dani Commanda

Dani has been an active member of the Flagstaff arts community for over 15 years, with extensive experience in local theatre through Theatrikos, Flagstaff Music Theatre, and Stargazer Collaborative Theatre where she has directed, acted in, and stage managed numerous productions. She is also a co-founder of Stargazer Collaborative Theatre. Dani is a Viola Award winner for Cabaret with the unforgettable cast and crew, which she directed for Stargazer Collaborative Theatre in 2024. Some of her favorite productions that she has been a part of are: Legally Blonde the Musical (Director, FMT), Into the Woods (Co-Director, FLOC), Cabaret (both times!) (Stage Manager, Theatrikos & Director, Stargazer), A Flea in Her Ear (Antoinette, Theatrikos), The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time (Co-Director, Theatrikos), and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Co-Director, Theatrikos). Dani would like to thank Charlie, her supportive and amazing husband, and her two kids Ezra and Emerson, I love you always, always. Another one for you, Mum.
