Raised on the outskirts of Houston, Texas, Danya Gorel earned her degree from the University of Texas at Austin in Theatre & Dance with a focus in direction. Though this is her acting debut with Theatrikos, she directed Unusual Suspects during the 2024 ARTx Festival and has served on the board since 2021. Calling Flagstaff home for nearly a decade, she works in conservation advocacy for Grand Canyon Trust. She is grateful to return to the stage and would like to thank her parents and sister for always supporting her love of Theatre, along with her Flagstaff family for encouraging her to take on this role.
