This was Theatrikos’ very first show on July 14, 1972. With a brief Broadway run, The New York Post called this show “a highly amusing comedy.” But that was more than 50 years ago and, alas, this show has not withstood the test of time. That said, it still provides some insight into a Broadway of decades past—and Theatrikos on our first opening night. We’ve both come a long way since then.
This staged reading will be preceded by dinner and followed by a talkback so we can discuss the evolution of the theatre.
