Artist Roberta Rogers first displayed her art on these walls in 1976. Now 44 years later, she’s back. Of course, in 1976 Theatrikos was the library, and she had been the library secretary from 1970—1974. In the intervening years she’s become a professional artist specializing in historic scenes and buildings. She even custom painted Theatrikos and the Doris Harper-White Playhouse. See Roberta’s work in our lobby through February!
This painting is currently up for auction. The value is $1,800, bidding starts at $450, and the silent auction ends on the closing day of our next show Holmes and Watson on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 5 p.m.
It’s great to have Roberta back home in the library, er, theatre. Make your bid today!
